Rides and Route:
Come bike the night away during the 2008 Heuberger Subaru Starlight Spectacular! The ride begins and finishes at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. Routes range from 14 to 25 miles. All routes travel through downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City. Longer routes travel through the Garden of the Gods. Alison Dunlap, Two-Time Olympian and Mountain Bike World Champion, will be the 2008 Ride Marshall.

Safety:
Helmets, headlights and tail lights are required for ALL riders. Check for light specials at sponsoring bike shops prior to the ride. Light      colored and reflective clothing are recommended. Riders MUST OBEY ALL traffic regulations. All riders should carry identification and must have a signed waiver on file in order to be able to participate. Packets will not be given out to any rider who fails to sign the waiver. Maintenance stations will be available at the start, at the rest stops and at Balancing Rock in the Garden of the Gods. 

Prizes:
Bikes donated by Ted’s Bicycles will be awarded for the Most Creative Attire and Most Extravagantly Illuminated Rider and/or Bike. The West One Trophy will be awarded to the Largest Riding Team. Other great door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. 

Food:
Start the night with Starbucks coffee while you enjoy music by Pulpit Fiction. Rest stops sponsored by Colorado Springs Cycling Club, Old Town Bike Shop and REI provide nourishment along the route. All   participants will receive breakfast upon their return to the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. Riders are encouraged to carry their own water.
